The agreement between you and sitebuilder.me when you use our product.
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using sitebuilder.me (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
2. The service
sitebuilder.me lets you generate brand identities and websites using AI, and publish them with hosting, a domain, and business email. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Plans, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or yearly, in US dollars. You can try the experience before paying, and you are only charged when you choose to publish or upgrade. Each plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee from your first paid charge. Unless required by law, charges outside the guarantee window are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you provide and of the brand assets and website generated for your business. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
- Publish content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or hateful.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Resell or white-label the Service except under a plan that explicitly permits it.
7. AI-generated output
Brand names, logos, and copy are generated automatically. While we work to produce original, useful results, we cannot guarantee that any generated name or asset is unique or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for checking availability and clearing trademarks before commercial use.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sitebuilder.me will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
